The landscape and body therefore constitutes spiritual meaning itself, just like a piece of sculpture evoking feelings in human, or a face evokes memories and desires. Space itself cannot be defined without the surrounding forms and shapes, or landscape. The shapes defining the space can be human made like architecture or a natural place, all the forms create human memories and affects the mind, in a resulting meaning in relation to place. The meaning in turns generate a way of thinking, and finally a philosophy of place. In Gilles Deleuze's rendition of The Desert Island, he postulates the meaning of islands in human geophilosophical existence, and project what the special type of island: desert island means to human existence. This form of space is like a platform for imagination and projection of dreams and desires, it is a generator of many possibilities of existence and being, or open up the mind to multi-narrative thinking, triggering numerous ending possibilities.
