The Crisis and Paradigm

Will divorce rate someday exceed marriage rate? Is it already happening now? The idea that two person married for life and grow spiritually did carried out in the past thousands years. The partner is a person to take on the life journey, that was when life span was at 40 years old. However in the Bible characters did live a very long life span and the partner stick around. I am not arguing that this idea should change. However, people are getting married for many reasons today and if it is the wrong reasons the chance of failing the marriage is high. I will explore the right reasons later but the main idea of having a partner with a certain personality and physique to stay around and grow both physically and spiritually and then wither away means that the essence of the partner is something to behold. This comes back to the essential decision of finding the 'right' partner. If the case is wrong then we have to get back to zero, or live with a less than perfect situation. Now with technology, the physique of the partner may be changed, or even the personality of the partner may change or 'grow' in time and then there is the adjustment to be made. This entire exercise it suppose to polish the soul of a person, to learn to care and love, and then the journey in this realm ends. Technology can be a disruptive elements when people project their emotions to objects, robots or AI. One will say these are all simulations of the real partner. The essence of the companion is to be able to take on the life journey with a unique someone and move to a higher spiritual plane of existence. In this regard the partner or the companion to the soul is a unique experience that is not meant to be replaced or replicate with other means. If an AI or robot becomes the companion, lets presume this may come true, then the experience and the nature of this journey changed and the soul may not evolve? And the evolution of the soul is towards what end? This is presuming the existence of soul and the process of soul journey.
