The ARK of information

In the last blog I mentioned the massive storage system necessary to store data and knowledge developed for the concept of spatial Imaginaries. Which lead to a thought about human knowledge and the way to transmit and preserve it. Also the importance of accessibility. So far our civilisation has been developed for a few thousand years to this digital age. If any catastrophe or destruction through war happen to our age all things in digital will be wiped. This makes me wonder how the previous civilisations preserve their knowledge. Before I get into amassing the intelligent data of the Imaginaries, it is worthwhile to detour a bit from our exploration of spatial knowledge to think about how knowledge should be or can be stored technically. This lead me to think of the notion of Noah's ark in the bible. God decides at some point in human history to wipe the creative slay clean and only preserve what God decided was worthwhile into the Ark. this vessel of the Ark is crucial in preserving part of God's creation. I believe the story can be both symbolic and literal, there were real animals getting into the ark in a historical event of the flood, but also a symbolic act of putting aside essential data for later reuse. Similar to a narrative with multiple endings, God did not really want to start all over again. This is the most fascinating but overlooked detail of the story.
