Programmers as Creators

If artists such as sculptors or writers eventually become programmers to create multi-narrative works, then programmers are the ultimate creators that formulate all the parameters and logic in constructed worlds. These worlds are figments of imaginations or simulation of our physical realities, of nature. The simulations of these virtual worlds can be called imaginaries or a term that encompasses all forms of virtual realms from simulations of the real world to imagined worlds: "spatial imaginaries". in spatial imaginaries the programmer control the settings, the time events, the physical limitation and material properties of the construct. This God like role of the programmers is like that of the character of the'architect' or the 'oracle' in the film The Matrix (1999). Spatial imaginaries is a framework to think and create different virtual worlds, encompassing the data of all human built civilization and imagined realms from myths, legends, literature, fictions, dreams to film worlds and to game worlds. Spatial imaginaries as a system to indicate all meanings and significant details of constructed virtual realms and the cultural implications of such intelligence and complex development of human history and civilization. It is a catalog of settings that denote meanings and even knowledge to the species. It is a record of a geo-psycho-philosophy of our species. Here the programmer as a central figures call to mind a reverse thinking of the role of God, if God is the ultimate programmer, then what is the operation system of God? The God OS? On the other hand those hackers that can penetrate a program and traverse within the cyber realm freely are renegate programmers that challenge and revise the existing master programs, they are the unknown trickster that threaten and invigorate the stable universe that is the master program by God. They are the dark matters of the universe.
