MasterpieceVR is a software to be used with the head mount display to create 3D objects or design in the virtual space. This is a start of a software idea that make use of VR to create. A studio space is still needed for this kind of operation and of course a powerful enough computer and the headset. The essential question is whether creating in VR makes the differences than creating with pen and paper in a studio. Wearing a head mount display in prolonged period can be demanding to some and it draws incredible mental energy and concentration. So far I wonder if there are experiments and research on how long people engage in work tasks in the VR environment. Fo course playing game can be engaging enough to stay long in the virtual environment, yet the mental and physical price of deep immersive experience in VR is yet to be researched. There have been reports of death in playing prolonged hours of video games. These are extreme cases, yet the long term effects in social, physical effects is yet to surface, especially VR is just starting to sip into our lives. On the creating part I think thinkrealm is interested more in the creation of space instead of objects and what is the potential of the virtual space in affecting our lives in the physical reality.
